Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the verbally inspired word of God, and that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Christ, His shed blood for the atonement of sins, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and in His personal return to establish His kingdom here on earth.

We believe that in order to be saved, every person must be born again by the Spirit of God; that this salvation is by grace through faith, not of works; and, in the eternal security of all saved people.

We believe that Hell is a real place of eternal punishment for all who reject Christ, and that Heaven is real and all who are saved will be there.

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, in the pre-millennial second coming of Christ, and that a New Testament church is an organized body of scripturally baptized believers in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

We believe that baptism is by immersion and always follows salvation, and that a church should remain doctrinally separated from those who practice unbiblical doctrine.

We believe that personal separation is based on a personal relationship with Christ, not adherence to man-made rules, and that this separation will vary from member to member depending upon the person's spiritual maturity and relationship with God.
