History

Temple Baptist Academy began as a dream in the minds and hearts of a handful of dedicated parents-members of Temple Baptist Church. Their quest to raise godly children in an increasingly ungodly culture demanded a school that would work with them, and their church, to "train up a child" God's way.

They dreamed big, too! After four long years of doing all of the groundwork, Temple Baptist Church had a school: Temple Baptist Academy. The Academy opened its doors in 1978 and graduated its first class in 1979. The 2007-2008 school year marks the beginning of our 30th year as a ministry of Temple Baptist Church, providing a solid, Christ-centered education.
