Mrs. Leddon teaches High School Computing as well as Elementary Computers.

In our High School Computing class, we will focus on computer hardware, including upgrades, software, computer applications, graphics, web design, ethics, and networking. We explore the basics of how computers work, how to use them efficiently, and how to fix them. We explore different operating systems, different computer types, and different network systems. Additionally, the students learn how to code web pages and integrate creative thinking into their design.

Elementary Computers

Elementary Computing focuses on introducing grade-appropriate computer basics and extends learning from the classroom into a media-rich environment. Both our computer teacher and elementary teachers work together to complement materials being studied in the primary classrooms.Students learn about the major parts of the computer, common computer applications, different computer related careers, Cyber Safety, and basic keyboarding skills.
